My Next Big Chapter – Ready or Not! • There are always a few big stories grabbing headlines and dominating the news. But this month, for many of you TPPers in Sixth Class, the biggest story isn’t global – it’s personal: your move from primary to secondary school. We hope what follows here will help make that journey a little easier.

National News • Check out the latest national news stories from around the country. Our carefully chosen collection of fun, interesting and informative news is written with you in mind.

International News • Each month, in International News, we bring you a selection of the major news stories and current affairs that have emerged over the last month or so from across the world.

The Great Famine (Part 2) • In Our Island’s History, we look at periods, events and people that helped shape our country and forge our identity. While our country may be a small island, we have a rich and varied history.

Historical Diary • In the Historical Diary, we feature significant dates from this month in world history. We travel back in time to bring you a snapshot of these events.

Planet Art • Every month in Planet Art, we feature a piece of art for you to enjoy. A world of amazing colour, technique and interest awaits, as you take a turn at critiquing works of art.

10 YEARS AGO The Primary Planet Issue #43, June 2015 • Welcome to Planet Archives, where we dig up some of the best stories from the TPP archives. These tales are too good to be read only once, so we've brought them back for you to enjoy.

WWW News • Each month, in WWW News, we bring you a quirky and often unbelievable selection of stories from around the world. W for weird, W for wacky or W for wonderful, you can decide.

Planet Movies • In Planet Movies, we bring you the latest in the world of movies, streaming and cinema. We also look at the blockbusters set to fill cinema seats this month. So, grab your popcorn!

Planet Farming • In Planet Farming, expect to read about calving, dosing, fencing, driving, injecting, saving, mowing, spreading, suckling, milking, buying, selling, rounding and, lest we forget, raining. Yip, all in the life of an Irish farmer!

Porsche 911 Carrera GTS T-Hybrid • Here, in Planet Motors, we feature amazing cars for you to marvel at. We lift the bonnet on the newest, coolest and fastest supercars, hypercars and EVs hitting our roads.

CELEBRATING EARTH’S RAINFORESTS June 22 • June 22 is World Rainforest Day – a time to celebrate these incredible forests and raise awareness about why they matter. Around the world, people are taking time to learn, speak up and take action to help protect rainforests before it’s too late. Even small actions can make a difference – and it starts with understanding what makes these wild, wonderful places so important. TPPers, prepare to be amazed by the incredible world of rainforests.

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park • Each month, in Planet Places, we choose a famous landmark from around the world and find out why it’s such a spectacular spot. This month, we travel to east-central Africa to discover a national park like no other.

Maths Story #143

Planet STEM • Each month, here at Planet STEM, Dr Martin McHugh from the University of Limerick, brings you the latest in science and STEM-related news from around the world.
